Strangers Saying Stuff That Bugs/Worries You

So, yesterday after I picked DS1 up from Pre-K... he and his brother went to run around in this play area attached to the school. When we get there, there's a 10 or 11 year old boy being totally yelled at by his Dad. (I'm assuming it's his Dad). At the end... he says... "And let's be very clear. When we get home, You're Mine. You got that? You're mine. "

It did not sound good. I have no idea what the boy did, but I was very disturbed the Dad's threatening phrase.

Would you do/say anything?

I didn't. I worried that it might piss the Dad off more.

Eeew, creepy. I don't know what I would have done. If the boy was from the school, maybe let a school person know, but I'm assuming he wasn't, right? There's not much you could have done, legally. Dad didn't do anything illegal, and threatening something so vague is hard to prove. I would have maybe asked the boy if he was ok, but only if there were other people around, just in case I needed help.
