Switching from the mainstream and have left overs?

There's probably a charity in your area who'd love your extras.

Everything from menstrual pads to laundry detergent.

Switching to family cloth? Donate your remaining toilet paper.

Obviously, if you aren't using something because you think it's so horrible no one should, dispose of it appropriately, but anything where you're just reducing your family's waste and expenses will be great for a family in need.

I've been struggling with this a lot. Case in point: plastic food storage containers and sippy cups. I don't feel great about our family using it, but then would another family? And would it be better to donate b/c if the recipients were planning to buy plastic food storage or sippies, is it better than them buying new ones?

(I hope that had a teensy bit of clarity)

I also have a mind to ditch all of the other personal care and cleaning products that I don't think are safe/healthy anymore. And the plastic toys. And, and, and...I kind of feel like getting rid of most of our stuff and starting over!

thanks for listening b/c the Joneses just don't understand my not wanting to keep up with them
