Best place to host birth photos??

Thread Starter
Just had my homebirth on Thurs. Where should I host the pictures? Is it ok to put (sorta)graphic photos up on picasa? I'm covered on top, but obviously crotch shots in the tub LOL

Any better ideas??

I was wondering the same thing, and just asked the ICAN list that I am part of, whether graphic photos of my "en caul" 10+ lb HBAC would be perceived as appropriate and interesting, or offensive/too graphic. My photos are cropped to show only the points of interest (no identifying parts) and I think the emerging head still encased in the sac is of interest, as is the closeup of the nuchal arm, as well as the fact that it was a large homebirth after c/sec. Would love to share it, yet not sure of the ramifications.
Thanks for asking, and we will both hope to hear from someone who may know.

I'd use Photobucket.

I dunno...Photobucket is pretty hardcore about what's allowed. I had a pic from someone else's birth on mine of a baby floating in the birth tub...you could see his boy junk, so they took it down. I don't see how that's even possible since my album is private, but I've been looking for a new place to host pics since then. I have some nude maternity shots I want to share and I'll definitely be sharing birth pics too.

photobucket also removed some water birth pics (crowning shots) of a friend of mine

I've seen plenty of childbirth pictures on Flickr
