if you have netflix-- which plan?

If you have netflix, which plan do you use? We just signed up for the free trial w/ 3 DVDs at a time, but I'll downgrade after it expires. I'm just not sure which plan to downgrade to.

And we love the instant movies so I'd like to keep that.

I ended up keeping the 3 movies at a time deal, and we actually just upgraded to the 4 movies at a time deal. We've got 4 people in the house, so this way we were able to split everyone else's movie choices into different profiles. Some of us only watch a movie every now and then, while others go through a couple a week. When one person returns a movie, then the next one on his/her list arrives. That way we aren't waiting for one person to finish watching the two discs they've had for 3 weeks.

I like it a lot for watching TV shows, especially those that I got into when they had already been one for a couple of seasons.

I like the instant movies too, but I can't watch them on my TV or with closed captions.

We have 3 movies at a time. We've had this plan for 5 years (?) I think. It works really well for us- DH gets one movie, I get a movie, and we usually get a movie for the kids. We can be slackers about watching the movies right away, and about getting the movies sent back in a timely manner once we've watched them. We're really happy with Netflix

We have the one at a time unlimited and love it. We have a distribution site in our area so the movies arrive really fast. We average one new DVD per week which is plenty for us. This plan also has unlimited instant watching. I'm really wanting the $99 instant watching box they are selling now too. Netflix is awesome and we'd never go back to looking for movies at the video store.

We have the cheapo $5 plan. We get 2 movies a month, 1 at a time. It's plenty for us. Plus we can watch I think 5 hours on demand each month.

We have the one at a time, unlimited # per month for $8.99. We get them so fast!

3 at a time, unlimited. If I follow through on my threat to shut off the cable, I'll upgrade to 4 at a time.

I'd watch the instant ones, but I have a Mac, and it doesn't work on Mac.

I just signed up for today for the 2 at a time. I didn't realize that Netflix had the On Demand setup. I have the ability to plug my laptop into our TV so we can view videos that way as well, too cool!

I have had a Netflix account for about 3 years. I change the plan around a couple times a year, depending what our schedules look like. Most of the time we have the 3 movies at a time unlimited. When we have more time (for example, I had a month this summer when I was on break from school and hadn't started working yet), I bump us up to the 5 at a time unlimited. We shut off our cable this past January and don't miss it at all. My favorite thing about Netflix is watching television shows. I like to watch them in order with no ads. There's no other way to watch tv as far as I am concerned!

we have 4 at a time unlimited, we usually get one for ds and 3 for me and dh to watch.

We change or cancel our plan based on the time of year. In the winter, we use the 3 at a time plan because we are inside the house WAY too much. Then in spring/fall we are on the 2 or 1 out at the time. We cancel in the summer because we are outside as much as possible then we start up again in the fall.

I just started it last month and I have the 4 at a time plan. I usually have one tv series DVD, one movie for the adults, one movie for the kids, and one in the mail.

we do the 3 at a time.

We have the 1-2 movies per month plan. It's $5 per month or something like that. Occasionally, we have only gotten one movie because we often find it difficult to get a chunk of time to sit down and watch (crappy sleepers, crappy bedtimes). It's definitely a lot cheaper, and easier, than going out and renting one. At least we can keep it until we get a chance to see it!

3x

We do two at a time up to four a month. It's perfect for us!

I already responded earlier that we have the 1 at a time unlim. plan, but I just watched one of their instant selections- the Business of Being Born.
That made it so worth it right there- loved it!

thanks for this thread.

DH came home last night and said we're switching to netflix because blockbuster has changed there plans again

It's fine with me - no more running to the movie store with 2 lo's just to get an extra movie...

We had 2 at a time, with new baby I'm going to switch to the cheapest plan. I'd cancel but I don't want to lose my queue!! DH & I have 184 in the queue right now.

We have the three at at time unlimited plan. We normally do one TV series, one adult movie and one kid movie. We have no other TV services (cable, dish) and I don't patron the local library b/c of some issues I've had there.
