Honestly, with a new baby, you might end up watching MORE movies, so I wouldn't downgrade if you can afford it. You're sitting on the couch -- nursing, nursing, nursing, rocking, nursing -- what else would you do but watch a movie so you don't go a little bonkers with boredom???

We have the 1-at-a time plan with unlimited movies per month.

We do the 3 at a time plan and love it!

We have the cheapest plan, one at a time/2 a month for 4.99.

We just use it for getting the new releases (never go to the movies, just put the movies on our queue )

3 movies at a time. has same plan for 6 plus years.

We do the unlimited 2 at a time. We have 2 queue's set up so we he has one and I have one at any given time. Which works because he likes crap.

We do two at a time unlimited. One is for us and one is for ds.

We like the 3 movies at a time.

We have the 3 movies at a time, but I think I may drop to the 2 at a time, unlimited plan. I love the instant movies!

2 at a time, unlimited. I signed up for a free trial so I could watch Business of Being Born instantly, and now I'm hooked. I'm heavily considering cancelling the cable and going to 4-at-a-time.

During the summer months we downgrade to the 1 at a time 2 a month and we are fine. In the fall/winter months when it is cold we do 2 at at time unlimited since we are at home watching movies more.

we have the 3 at a time unlimited. this was a comprimise with my husband so he would not get cable this is much cheaper and we get some cool stuff we might not find with cable. I watched the Business of being born and other cool documenteries.

4 at a time and a queue with over 300 movies. We don't have cable and don't watch network TV. We probably watch between 12-20 movies/TV shows per month for $24. Such a deal! That doesn't include instant viewing, but we don't watch many that way because the picture quality isn't as good and there are no subtitles. We got used to watching sound on with subtitles when my older DD was an infant.

2 at a time, unlimited. That way DH can have his weird movies and I can have my movies. I love the instant viewing because I can normally get in an episode of Xenaarrior Princess or Hercules during DD's naps. XD <-- Dork!

We also have the one-at-a-time unlimited plan. I really try to get my $8 or $9 a month worth, so I return them the day after I get them usually. It comes out to about 8 movies a month.....

I've thought about switching to the 2 movies/month option, because it's not that much more....and our queue is pretty long.

We do the two at a time unlimited. It's plenty, and there's about a two day turn around (I mailed them back on Tuesday and will be getting two more today, Thursday). I used to do three at a time but I found all I was doing was watching movies. And this time around I try to get one movie for the kids and one for me.

We just started back up with the one dvd at a time package. We had the 3x at a time a few years back and we never watched enough movies to make it worth it. I figure we'll try it this way first and we can always up the amount if we end up making good use of the service.
