Organic bulk cheese by mail???

Thread Starter
I am trying to convert our house totally to organic. We would like to buy bulk. We use a lot of cheese. The only thing I can find here is 6oz. packages.
I also think that bulk will save me money.
Thank you

You can find Tillamook cheese at Costco in big packages..........not organic but more natural than other kinds (they do NOT use Rbgh.)

Have you checked you local co-op?
Also, there was a bulk organic cheese co-op hosted on MDC within the past 6 months. If I remember correctly, if your family eats ALOT of cheese, you could probably do the minimum purchase yourself, as the small group of participants was buying small amounts per family.

Check your local CSAs

www.localharvest.com might have some info, as well

I know someone ran a coop here with local raw cheese (she's in the same city as I am). My CSA also offers local raw cheese and goat's cheese, as well.

Here's the co that they did the co-op with.

I can't find the actual co-op thread , but here is the interest thread and you can scroll the pages for around that time:
