I had to tell y'all!

I just saw a commercial that showed a woman breast feeding her baby -maybe 9 months old- and I was bracing myself for it to be an ad for formula and it ended up being a commercial for Pampers! I felt so glad! (Maybe they're saying; "What goes in must come out."? )

I'm here in Italy and it was on a satellite channel, but still, it's very exciting, isn't it? And it wasn't just the mom holding the babe and all you see is the head at breast level, no, there was full breast exposure and you could see the babe latched on. : Pretty cool, huh?

(But then, bare breasts abound in TV ads here. Things as mediocre as yogurt and deoderant have naked women in them. )

I just came back from Italy last month and saw the same commercial!!! I aboslutely loved it and was very surprised that it was a Pampers commerical. I was visiting my in-laws and introducing them to our new arrival.

Yeah, I once saw an ad that used a fully naked woman underwater used to sell bottled water. I think she was crotchless or somehow you didn't see her crotch. I could never get it. But I remember someone once telling me how Europeans censor American movies for their violence while we censor for sex.

Awesome. That's really a prime example of how the U.S. stands alone in its non-acceptance of breastfeeding as a very natural and "of course that's how it's done" attitude.

I remember a pampers ad here showing bfing as well...i think it was about how their nb dipes are so good at keeping the bf poop in or something.
