Can ya'll recommend a good night time face lotion. Or is this something I could skip since my face is not dry?

My skin was very oily and I use jojoba oil. Just one drop rubbed in my hands then patted onto a clean face, ahhh. My face is no longer really oily

Per the recommendations of, what? 4598674985 posters on MDC? I tried raw honey and didn't need any moisturizer at all! Perhaps you could try the raw honey for a few days and figure out if you need it? I do use SPF moisturizer in the AM, though.

I haven't used face lotion in years- pretty much since I stopped using all those "anti acne" cleansers and following up with anti-acne dryng gel.

Now I wash my face once or twice a day with soap. That's my whole facial routine. I wash less often in the winter when my skin is more dry, more often in the summer when my skin is more oily.

I am going to try the honey thing. My face feels pretty good without lotion sometimes I just was not sure if that was something I could skip in hopes not to get wrinkles in the furture.

I second the jojoba oil. Wonderful! I use it to both wash and moisturize my face. I have sensitive, easily irritated skin and it does not make it red or break out.

Also, I use raw organic honey as a mask once a week or so ... or whenever I actually get around to it.

Where can I get jojoba oil? Walmart?(I know, the dreaded WM, but I don't have a lot of options close, and need something)

Can it be used around my eyes? I really, really need something natural.

I think it depends on what your skin care goals are. For me, anti-aging is important, so I use a product for that (I use Aubrey Organics). I don't have dry skin either, but that doesn't mean your skin doesn't need moisture. If I were younger (or not concerned with wrinkles), I think raw honey would be the way to go.

I bought my jojoba oil at a HFS/herb store but you could look at WM.

You could definitely use it around your eyes. Something else that may be better for eyes is rosehip seed oil. There is a thread about it in here somewhere.

Rosehip seed oil. Love it.

I have bought jojoba oil from Whole Foods, as well as local health food stores. It can also be ordered from Mountain Rose Herbs and Garden of Wisdom.

Good luck! You'll love it.
