Yay for new friends, and yay for chariots! You know how much I

mine, and I don't even use it nearly as much as I could. I have a friend who literally bikes everywhere with her chariot...does all the shopping, runs errands, everything!

Wow, 19 mph sounds so fast to me right now! My average speed for my ride yesterday was around 14 mph. Of course, I slowed WAY down on the second half, but still... I look at my superstar friend and she averaged over 24 mph in her last race and it just boggles my mind! My max speed yesterday, on a downhill, was only 23 or so!
Re: master's swim team...I would absolutely love to do it, I just can't find a group that meets at a convenient time. The one that meets at the Y meets at 6 pm, which just doesn't work well with DS's nap/dinner/bedtime schedule. Plus it's an extra charge class. My MIL's Y in Cincinnati, it's just a drop-in class, so I may check it out if I can while we're there next week.
rr~Bagged the run this morning. WAY too tired! I did get to the Y for a swim tonight. I swam my distance for this weekend in 100 yd intervals, plus some for about 900 yds total. It's amazing to me how much faster/easier swimming distances is when you break it down to 100 yd intervals...just 4 lengths at a time!

DS had his 2 year well-baby check this morning. We're now up to 30th percentile for weight!

: This is the kid who dropped off the charts around 6 months to the point that we were doing weekly weight checks and discussing how to get my milk supply up without supplementing. He had just barely cracked back on the charts at a year. So, woohoo! He unfortunately has a super hoarse voice and a hacking cough again. I really

our ped though. Instead of jumping right back on the antibiotic train, he's trying a week of zyrtec to see if it helps before we resort to the antibiotic again. He had his first dose right before bedtime, and I've only heard a couple of coughs since, so that's an improvement! Oh, and apparently DS's 2 year molars are JUST about to poke through, so that could explain a LOT of the cranky/crabby/feverish stuff last weekend.
Tomorrow is second try at getting the car serviced, so hopefully no rain! We'll drop off the car and bike a couple of blocks to a trail that runs back to our house, but also many many miles the other way as well. Depending how I feel, we'll either come home to wait for the car to be ready, or bike the other direction as far as we can get till the dealership calls!
