Is it normal to have some ankle swelling after birth? I am i.5 weeks PP, and am swelling a tiny bit in my ankles. Something to call the doc about?
TIA!

How tiny is tiny? And do you have any other symptoms, headaches funny chest feeling, dizziness, spots?
I swelled with my first at 1 week, bad enough to have "cankles" but by the time I would have seen a DR they were back to normal. My 2nd and 3rd I swelled a little but it was gone by the 2nd week and my last I never swelled.
If you do feel the least bit odd get in and get your BP checked out.It couldn't hurt.In the meantime drink lots of fluids or eatr watermelon and cucumbers to help ease it out and keep those feet up,no picking up toddlers!

Thanks! And, how do cucumbers and watermelon help?

They are also fluid flushers and when you get tired of chugging water easier to take.
