Wreath crafting

Hey all, I'm hoping that I can get some input here as to how feasible this idea is.

I've been making wreaths for about two years. I've made them for every season and alot of holidays. I get alot of compliments on them.
Two of them are posted on my flickr account here. One is called Summer Wreath and the other is Eostar egg wreath.

My family thinks I should sell them, start a little hobby business. I checked on craigslist to get an idea what homemade wreaths sell for, but I couldn't find any! I was really surprised since alot of the houses in my area have them.

I have no idea what to sell them for. Flower type wreaths for seasons usually cost me about $15 - $20 for supplies and they take me about an hour or so to make. The Eostar wreath took me about three hours because all the eggs were died, then blown and decorated.

FWIW, I did some shopping around at various stores in my city to see what the wreaths sell for. I was really surprised to see the *decent* ones selling for $40 !! The bigger/nicer ones sell for $60 to $100.

Thanks for any ideas!

Please? I just want a frame of reference. I don't really know what to sell them for and I have no experience with crafts, selling items or pricing.

I'm not trying to be impatient, I promise. It just seems as if I've become so since becoming so.. lol.

Have you priced wreaths on etsy? They have tons of handmade wreaths there that you can compare with yours. I suppose if you want to sell locally you'll want to be competitive price wise and etsy has a "buy local" search option too. My SIL sells evergreen wreaths at a local art fair in the winter. I'll have to ask her what she charges. Sorry I couldn't help more.
