I would like to re-do, re-organize our garage for DH for fathers day ..... but not sure how I want it to look. Ours is a mess and used for storage -- so not looking to be able to fit a car in it -- just wanting to not be embarassed when the door goes up

Any pictures of websites you have would be great

Ours used to be, but we need to attack it again. We have utility shelves along the back wall and Rubbermaid bins with labels on the fronts. We use our garage for the cars, so we only have storage on the back wall.

OK, I have a couple. We do park 2 cars in our garage, so our storage is on the walls. The cabinet in the first picture is for basketballs, tennis rackets, etc.

These shelves are over the garage door - when the garage door is open, you can't even see them.

We also have shelving along one wall - wooden frames we bought at Menards, with plywood sheets for the shelves themselves. I think they're 2 feet deep, and at least 8 feet long.

If I was going to use my garage just for storage, no cars, I would build big shelves along every wall, and stack plastic tubs in the middle, with everything labeled so I could find it.
