DAN recommendations

Hi everyone,

I'm new here. Our 17 month old daughter is starting early intervention for many developmental delays and autistic indicators. Going through lots of emotions since we delayed/selective vax, extended bf, etc.

We would like to visit a DAN practitioner but I would like to hear from those who have one they trust and like. I don't want to travel to one that isn't good.

We currently live in Louisville, KY but will be moving to Kansas City, Dallas or Seattle. We can easily travel to Cincinnati, too. If anyone can recommend a DAN in these areas, please let me know ASAP. I feel like we are losing precious time and she's only getting 1.5 hours/week in Early Intervention.

Thanks and any other advice would be welcomed.

www.generationrescue.org has "rescue angels" in various areas. They are parents who are doing biomed and can offer insight as to their experiences with DAN practioners. chelatingkids2, autisminfo and other autismbiomedical yahoo groups have numerous parents that can share their experiences so you can make a well rounded decision. www.autismweb.com in the biomedical section can have parents that offer suggestions and experiences. www.autism.com has a list of DAN practioners so you can at least have a list of names and ask parents their experiences w/ them.

I'm sorry about your EI experience. We got minimal services like that at first.

Sending you a PM about the other stuff.
