Poison Oak!

20 minutes gardening and I have a spot of poison oak! Can anyone recommend a kitchen recipe or homeopathic treatment?

Do you know this plant- plantain (no not the relative of the banana!)?

It's a great first aid plant and it grows in almost every condition. It's astringent so it can pull the irritants out of the poison oak irritated area as well as dry up pussy, gooey areas. The way I suggest using it is to take a leaf and chew it up and spit it out onto the affected area, and leave it there, maybe with gauze and tape. Now if you're not too sure on the ID then you can chop it up finely with a bit of water mixed in. It's also my favorite remedy for bee stings. It also stops bleeding. Great plant to make friends with!
