gushing about diva cup/cloth pads

Can I just take a moment to gush about my new diva cup and cloth pads. I posted on here a while back a question about getting started... and someone said 'just go for it and you won't look back". Oh my gosh...you are so right!!!

My diva cup is the most comfortable thing ever, hands down! I love my cloth pads. I seriously couldn't wait for my period to get here to try everything. My period feels so much healthier (if that makes sense). I just want to talk to everyone about my period...haha...my sister looked at me like I was crazy

I was worried when I had read some people couldn't get the diva cup thing to work. But, it has been great!! I feel so liberated!!! hehe!

I am glad you're enjoying it! And I don't think it's weird that your remark you feel healthier when menstruating... many women feel that way when they aren't exposing themselves to all the chlorine and other toxic chemicals in disposable pads anymore.

You are so right! Nothing compares to the comfort and freedom of cloth and the Diva. You can go so long without changing the Diva I hardly feel like I am even on my period and cloth is so comfy--feels like your panties not sticky like plastic.

I don't understand why people think it is weird that we are using them. My SIL was like "no way". I don't want to go back for sure. My only problem is when I have to travel to someone's house for a couple of weeks while I am cycling...I don't feel comfortable washing and hanging up my cloth pads in someone else's bathroom...try to explain that one to your fiance's family. I was sharing a bathroom with several people! So I had to go back to YUCKY disposables to back up my Diva. I have a heavy flow so I have to use a back up. If only it were more socially acceptable!
