VBAC with a midwife at home - Page 2

I had a VBAC home waterbirth. It was the most likely way I'd be able to have a vbac. If I had stayed with the OBs in this area and gone to the hospital, I would've been extremely pressured to have another c-section even though I had already had one vbac. Personally, barring any specific serious problems, a homebirth vbac is safer than a hospital vbac.

I live a bit south of you, and in my search for a midwife, I found several in the SLC area that I considered and who come highly recommended.

There are a couple of threads in the Finding Your Tribe area for Utah/Arizona that talk about local midwife recommendations.

The Midwives' Alliance of North America will email you a list of midwives in your area if you request it.
