Oliver George...has officially been declared about as normal as he can be. There is a spot on his brain-a very small spot that did in fact have a bleed, but there doesn't seem to be any "dead" gray matter. It all seems to be functioning well.

They told me it wasn't the Matrix, kids dont dodge bullets. They told me not to expect miracles, it wasn't TV...and yet...my son is normal.

He's not quite ready for home yet...still balancing his sugars and needing a little IV help with sugar water. He is just starting to nurse and we hope to be rid of the nasal feeding tube very soon. He will be two weeks old monday morning at 12:15am...I hope to have him home by his third week birthday.

I can't tell you how bad I miss you all...not only the people, the support, but the daily routine that I had in my life. I could not wish the ICU road on my worst in-law. although I have considered it...but that's another rant for another post. Today I am on cloud nine!
