Yup so my due date was May 14th, my DD arrived 3 weeks early on April 24th, and today June 3rd my period is back. I am BF on demand, so it's not fair.

My mom always got hers back right before 3 months. I wish it had waited just a bit longer.

Bummer-- I'm still bleeding from giving birth, so I can't commiserate just yet, but this does seem more common than people let on. Pft... and I was led to believe BF on demand meant no periods and free/easy birth control. Shame it's not true...

I got mine too. Argh.

This happened to me last time too. I had one period then it held off for 11 months. I'm hoping that happens this time too.

I had that last time too.

I'm still bleeding, but my ovaries are already grumbling. *sigh*

Yuck...i stopped bleeding at 5 wks pp last time, and then had bleeding again at 7 weeks pp, and my midwife said that ANY bleeding less than 8 weeks PP, regardless of whether you stop and start again etc, is considered PP bleeding...it might not reoccur! but, with a family history....

Yeah, I'm at 6 weeks pp and STILL BLEEDING!!! And it's still BRIGHT RED!!! So annoying. And poor DH can hardly stand the waiting!

: I haven't had a drop of blood since 6 days postpartum. I think it's from nursing twins. Can you imagine what my oxytocin levels must look like right now? Last two babies I've got my first AF back almost exactly at 5 months post but this time my babies are big sleepers so we'll see....I'm thinking it might be MUCH sooner.
