cheapest "safe" water bottles? - Page 2

Does anyone else put their SS bottles in the freezer? I know that KK says not to, but I don't see the harm if you only fill the bottle halfway before freezing.

my dad does... every day after work he comes home from work and washes them and then refills halfway to freeze. Before work in the morning he tops them off and throws them in a cooler.

His KK look really bad, but he does work in a car plant!

Another vote for repurposed glass jars.
I can't believe i paid so much for an "insulated" SS water bottle that doesn't stay cold anywhere near as long as the glass jar i grabbed one day because I couldn't find the expensive one... me and DH fight over the glass one now-- I think it was a tall pickle jar or something? It is the perfect size.

repurposed mineral water glass bottles... you can find lovely ones in cobalt blue and green. Love em! Under $2
