What a doll baby she is! Congrats to you and your family!!! Glad to hear that you were so well respected as a transfer patient (one of my biggest fears, this being our first planned HB) and, even better, than your LO arrived so healthy. I've had one mec. baby and she had a rough start the first couple of hours.

Can I be nosy and ask how much meconium was in your amniotic fluid? Like what color it all was?
Both my other kiddos had some meconium in there (I think it's how they kick-started labor, honestly), and last kiddo was still born at home...

The hospital records said "thick meconium." Her hair & body was covered in it. When I washed her hair later, the washcloth was very greeny-brown & her hair was way lighter brown than I thought when she was first born. Since being born, she has pooped a lot of meconium, too. I guess it really is a blessing that she didn't have further complications from that. I think if I was further dilated, we would have stayed at home, but the mw thought 5 cm gave us enough time to get there. I don't think any of us thought I would progress that quickly!
