...for figuring out, all on my ownsome, that ribbons can be stored in egg cartons.
Just roll 'em up. I'm decluttering the spare room (which will hopefully one day be my sewing room), and I tend to get focused on a very micro aspect of a task... so anyway, I spent a good half-hour of DD's precious naptime rolling up ribbons from my old wrapping paper bag and stowing them in egg cartons to await a brighter tomorrow.
Other things I learned while decluttering:
--I have seven half- or quarter- or one-hundredth completed sewing projects. Seven! And I'm not even into sewing! And two of them are quilts!
--My inlaws love us enough to give us a big plastic bag full of short lengths of old tinsel. Like, eight-inch lengths. I can only assume they thought it held some sentimental value for DH.
--That's where my pregnancy information guide went.
