41 weeks and alittle bummed!

My best friend that flew in on Friday is leaving tomorrow morning. I knew her making the birth was really a long shot but looked so promising when our baby hadn't showed up yet, I really thought that she wouldn't be this late. ::sigh:: So anyway I am bummed that she didn't get to witness the birth (this is her Goddaughter.) I will be sad that she is going home tomorrow... She will be back in August which is nice, since I normally don't get to see her this often.

Anyway I was having contrax last night so I called my midwife this AM and asked her to strip my membranes, she said she had someone in early labor (someone due after me! lol I am her most overdue) and she didn't want us both to be laboring today, so to call her back tomorrow and see if she can do it then.

Considering how late I am, I am really doing amazingly well!! I am super proud of myself, and keeping busy to make time go by fast. Babies ALWAYS come out.. Right???

Tracie, I am SO SORRY!! Jan was so worried we would all go at once. When I was laboring with Sophie, the other mama was threatening to go at the same time. Jan stated she was half tempted to drive from my birth to the other mama's birth and camp out front she was feeling she was that close. Maybe she had her baby already??

PS. THANK YOU for reccomending her, she was super awesome at my birth, it was a wonderful experience.

As of this morning she hadn't had her baby yet, I am really excited to hear that you had your little girl! Make sure to link me to her birth story when you type it up!
