I am on a diet. I need to make a list of things to do and what to eat. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for answering.

Oatmeal. I feel SO good eating this in the morning. I put a 1/2 cup frozen blueberries in a bowl, and pour the hot oatmeal over it. Then I add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon to it, a touch of brown sugar and a bit of milk. Blueberries are SO good for you, as is the cinnamon and oatmeal. It also holds me to lunch.
The more you can rid your diet of the whites (flour, sugar, white pasta, etc) the better off you are. (This is a struggle for me, as I was raised to love all things bad for you, but I try ti minimize it). Sodas, even diet, are no-nos. For snacks, keep it natural, fresh fruits and veggies without dips. Salsa is a staple of mine for keeping hunger at bay, and is really low in calories. And you can top almost anything on it.
Water as a drink. I'm not one to say force yourself to drink xxx amount, I follow another guideline: Drink enough to make your pee very pale/clear. Then you're good.
ETA: I said above "without dips". I should clarify that to "smart dips".

This is a pretty general statement. You'd probably be better of posting in the weight loss/fitness section and also giving people information about what you eat now, why you are losing weight, how much you want to lose, etc.

(ps: not everyone on diet is trying to reduce weight)
cassierace: you should be a bit more specific on what kind of diet and what you want to accomplish with it
the word 'diet' used to mean 'way of living', then turned into 'food during illness', but now apperantly means 'how to reduce weight' to most
