Still bleeding at 3 weeks PP?

Is that normal? It's red and mucousy.

Yup. I bled for about 4-5 weeks after each baby was born. I forget exactly when it changed from red to brownish though.

I have just in the last few days (4 weeks ppd) stopped with the brownish stuff. But randomly in the past 2 weeks it would stop then all the sudden be red again. I think it's from moving around..dunno though. I swear with my others I didn't bleed this long...

I bled for the full six weeks with all three of mine...

Totally normal. Mine stopped at around 5-6 weeks.

Yep, normal. I bled for three weeks and mine just stopped. It was always pretty red for me. I think we all have our own little version of normal.

Yep, totally normal, I bled for 8 weeks with my first (csect.) and about 6 with my second. The bleeding would slow down and almost stop a few days and then start back up again. Midwife sent me to the OB just to check things out and he said that in his experience breastfeeding can make you take longer to regulate the hormones, no big deal just one of those things.

Ugh! Still bleeding @ 6 weeks, three days pp. With my first, dh and I resumed relations @ 8 weeks. I hadn't been dried up for long. Maybe 7 weeks? I hope this stops soon!

Agreed! I bled for 6 weeks with all my boys and I'm still spotting with this one 4 weeks later.

We delivered the same day and I am still bleeding. Yesterday not so much, just spotting. This morning its bright/dark red this morning.

With both my other kids I got my period back at 6 weeks too eventhough I was EBF. sigh

Ian is 4 weeks old today and bleeding has just stopped within the last 2 days. I thought AF had come back because it stopped like a week ago and then was back to bright red, but that was only for another 2 days.
