My baby girl arrived at 1:43 am this morning, at home, in the water. It was the hardest thing I have EVER done, but it was AMAZING! My support team (my husband, my mom, my midwife, and my two doulas) were AMAZING! Once I made it past the 18-24 hours of early labor, the 6 hours of active labor and 15 minutes of pushing were not bad. No tears, just a tiny skid mark. She is tiny and sweet and her brothers and daddy and I are just smitten with her.

Congratulations; she's precious! Hopefully my first home(water)birth will be just as much of a dream come true.

P.S. - My oldest is also Austin and he turns 12 this month (the 20th)...thought that was funny.
