About 2 weeks ago a spot on my jaw started hurting. It's not where the jaw connects (I have mild TMJ too.) And my teeth and gums are fine. But along my jawbone there is a knot that hurts. It's hard--I can feel it with my fingers from inside my mouth too. Any ideas what it could be? Of course this happens 2 weeks after my dental benefits ended. Is this something to see a doctor about or is it a dental thing?
