afternoon funny...

So I was at the grocery store checking out and this man in line behind me was smiling at me(NOT creepy, seemed really...ummm. happy!) I thought, wow, that guy is just beaming, wonder what's going on in his world today! I was out in the car after loading up all my groceries(yikes, I bought the whole store!!!) and giving ds a snack when the man comes right up to the window and says "honestly, there's NOTHING more beautiful than a pregnant woman almost bursting at the seams like you are. Good luck, I hope you have a great birth!" I just smiled and said thanks! It was funny...then ds said "hey that guy was really nice, better than the guy the other day who said you were stupid when you were driving!" We endure a lot of comments from strangers, both good and not so desirable, but wanted to share this positive one with you all! Anyways, it took a load off my hectic feeling afternoon! Good karma to that dude!

That's so cute! I remember with my last pregnancy when I was around 30 weeks or so, I was standing at a street corner waiting for a light to change so I could cross. This older guy kept looking at me, then away, then at me, then away. Finally he walked up to me, and in a heavy accent said, "Are you in blessed state?" How cute a euphemism is *that*???
