Who stole my ankles?

I had them this morning and now they are nowhere to be seen. I'm keeping my feet up (when I can), but it doesn't seem to be helping today.

Please tell me that I'm not the only June momma to be whose ankles have taken on a life of their own.

I haven't seen my anlkes in a couple weeks, my feet look like bagels dogs and my calves look like they were injection with a gallon of water adn purple hyper color dye!

I LOVE the fact that this is my last pregnancy!!!

I have never had swollen ankles in my life until this week. I am not happy. I am not uncomfortable but they are so ugly! I upped my protein and it *might* be helping. I just started yesterday. I'm going to keep it up and see what happens. I'm not walking around the next few weeks like this. Plus, I really want to make sure that when I start birthing I feel as good as possible so I'm trying to give my body the healthiest foods I can manage (with a candy bar thrown in there every once in awhile).

I actually hadn't noticed my ankles and feet were so swollen until I ran into an acquaintence who I hadn't seen in a while and she said "from the looks of your feet you're going to give birth today!" and this was like 3 weeks ago. Since then, I have turned into elephant-leg woman. I can't even put on my gym shoes. Not pretty.

Me too! My doula noticed how swollen my calves were during our last visit, and my feet haven't been the same since the 2nd trimester. I normally have really skinny feet that require insoles to fit into normal width shoes, but at this point, my feet have lengthened half a size, from 7 1/2 to 8, and they've gotten a lot fatter. My ankle bones have dissappeared in the puffiness of the surrounding skin

Ankles... What are they?! Puffy huge things that are sore... blah! My thighs have also swollen quite a bit, but it's harder to notice because my ankles get huge by the end of the day - and they feel so tight!

It does make me feel slightly better knowing that I'm not going through this alone!
