Pregnant mamas, gestating in June!!

Come out, come out! How is everyone??

We are 35 weeks, I feel huge, and I'm ready to be done. It's 100+ degrees here and it's HOT. It's HOT HOT HOT. And HUMID. Then there's heartburn, indigestion, toddler-chasing, BH contractions all day long, sheer exhaustion, serious lack of poopage, and all that great stuff we complain about in pregnancy... I mean, I get so pissed off at night because, come on, I can't pee without it being interrupted every two hours by sleep! Yeah, you read that right!!

Thinking positively: no swelling. No headaches. I'm surviving. I have A/C (in my house... not my car)

DS1 is still nursing in the early morning hours. It's great on the left side, horribly painful on the right... of course he likes the right side better, EEK!

Anyway, time to go pee again so I'll wrap it up. How's everyone doing?

i'm 32 weeks! i am full of complaint too. it is hot here, and humid, and i milk a cow twice a day. and garden. and various other farm-life things too numerous to mention. i have been fairly optimistic about it all until recently, when i realized that if i give birth in the morning, i will have to go out at 7:30pm and milk the cow like every other day and again at 7:30am. the birth also comes at peak canning time, something i cannot not do. luckily dh is getting some time off!

this is our second UC, fourth baby. sometimes i feel like we used up all our perfect birth luck last time and i get worried. silly, i know.

37.5w here.
Ready and wishing.

I'm doing pretty good. I'm happy... excited. Uncomfortable and sometimes in pain, but I'm close!

I thought the heat and humidity was bad in South Louisiana, but here in Okinawa, the south has been beaten. I'm happy, excited, and not too uncomfortable. I pee more than I ever did with the first two, therefore only being "interrupted by sleep". But, I have NEVER had bh this early, this hard...very different for me...and I can't stop the flow of poop...as nasty as that may sound. This will be my first UC/HB and I am SOOOO excited. Lots of family flying out for the birth, so I'm kind of hoping I have her early! But, 4 1/2 weeks left and we'll see right!!

Past 34 weeks now. Belly itches now and then. I am LOVING the heat here Don't get enough of it usually. Tons of BH and occasional prodromal labor. Doing my best to rehydrate after a busy day out on monday with not quite enough water.

MIL was here for 4.5 days and she left an hour ago, so yippee! Now I can focus on making my birthing space and cleansing my home in preparation for the baby. It's not fun having my home bubble invaded by anyone.. I was hoping it'd be okay this early, but it wasn't. So now I know for future pregnancies.. after week 30 or so, no visitors that are staying with us!

Tee hee, baby is hiccoughing as I type this out.

My hypermobility is getting worse from teh baby weight and the relaxin hormones so I won't be walking or doing much from here on out. And yet I have such big plans for cleaning the house, heh. Ah well. Hopefully DH can at least keep the place picked up enough to not bother us much.

35.5 weeks here - we have been having a cool streak (which everyone is complaining about but I am LOVING! It's about 65 during the day) and I'm hoping it doesn't turn hot before the baby comes because we only have window a/c and it doesn't work as well.

Yvonne - after I read about your baby hiccuping, mine started! Hopefully she will be this compliant after birth as well

I ended up walking too much over the last 3 days (trying to get stuff done and in place) and could barely move last night - all that relaxin made my pelvis feel like it was falling apart! Fortunately, I woke up and it is much better, so I guess I will be taking it easy for the next couple of days. Had lots of prodromal labor lately as well, it seems like the contractions are getting longer (used to be 30ish seconds, now they are routinely 1 minute long).

I'm just really ready for her to be here and to experience labor!

Hi! I'm 30 weeks now and beginning to become uncomfortable. I have pelvic pain, I can't sleep, I'm always hot, and I'm tired from chasing after my toddler. I have so much to do before this baby gets here and I don't feel it's going to happen.

Almost 34 weeks here! Feeling pretty good, trying to get everything in order (i.e. PERFECT) for the birth. I finally got my ex to move into another room (the kids toy room) so I have my OWN room to focus on for birth (and for studying, b/c school is kicking my ass.) I've been drinking a half gallon of tea a day (RRL, Nettle and Alfalfa) and have access to ala carte medical care by a really awesome doctor who is more of a miracle in my area than anything. I am feeling very excited, and confident. I've been communicating to the baby that this is their birth, and I give them total control. I communicate my wishes of course But this pregnancy has been very spiritual since before it was even a pregnancy, and I am really looking forward to giving birth!

Hoping I don't tear! My other two I hand hands in me while I pushed with all my might just to get the birth done! I am going to try not to push much this time, and of course there will be no one around who wants to touch my vagina. I think it's really cool that NO ONE (other than ex dh) has touched my vagina this pregnancy!

I am at least 37 weeks. Having on and off contractions but still nothing real serious. I'd love to have her any day now but I know it's totally her show! I just wish I could get over being so dang grouchy and needing my bubble of space, my kids are having a difficult time understanding why mommy does not want any one to touch her.

I'm 33 1/2 weeks (or so) and have "those days" more and more frequently now where I feel overly tired and ready to have the baby. I think it's nature's way to ensure that we get more focused on getting the baby earthside than how much labor might be uncomfortable. I, too, am peeing every couple of hours, which is really annoying. If you think about it, that, too prepares us to wake every couple of hours once the baby is born for nursing.

I've been chasing around a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 1/2 year old and man, it is seriously tough! Didn't fully anticipate how much effort it would take.

Bless all you beautiful, blooming mamas!

33 Wks 6 Days

33 Wks 6 Days and counting. I can't tell 100% for sure if this little one is head down yet or not. He woke me up a few times trying to flip over in the past week, though. Shall see.
You'd think after x amt of pg, I'd know by now but, this is my first pg w/anterior placenta and it's a bit difficult to determine.
I'm counting my days left at work! Woo hoo! Maybe after that, I'll be able to regain focus on this birth experience. I might have to come here for some cheerleading. LOL
Another week & my oldest will be out of school! YEAH! No more waking up extra early and waddling back & forth to get him to school in the mornings!
I am still waking up at 3 & 5 for pee trips.
Ordered my belly cast. Should be here by the 12th. Still want to get the henna kit.
Just trying to enjoy this pg as much as possible even though it's F-L-Y-I-N-G by so quickly.
Belly rubs to all,

I've been staying home in the AC, generally naked. (Yay for no school/work this summer!) I highly recommend it for staying cool.

Going to a water park Saturday. suspect I'll be hanging out in the kiddie pools with friends' three year olds while they get in some ride time.

17 weeks today! Feeling good, thankful to be in 2nd trimester now, need to get work done around the house still! It feels like Feb. here instead of June....cold and rainy. I feeling really empowered with this pregnancy, it feels so good to be trusting myself fully. I have been extra stressed out lately w/kids and dh, I think I need to make more time for some affirmations and meditation and time for dh and I to just hang out.

i think i'm 28 weeks, if i'm counting correctly.

i'm very happy and comfortable. i feel great. no problems what so ever.

well, sometimes turning over in bed is funny. sometimes i can't figure it out and so i have to get out of bed, and then figure otu how to get back into bed so that i can lay on the other side.

that's about it here. no complaints.

yoga, craniosacral therapy, massage, good food--life is nice!

Wow! So many of us are getting REALLY close!

BirthFree -- I'm getting excited to read your birthstory! I hope your last few weeks are blissful and nap-filled.

I'm almost 35 weeks here. I feel great. I wish I could share some of my great with you all. This is our last babe, so I'm really try to savor the end here, too. Being able to nurture our babies in our bellies is such a blessing.

I had swelling in my feet (mostly in my right foot) and went back on Milk Thistle (was on it in 1T for morning sickness) and BAM! the swelling is almost entirely gone now after just a couple days.

I might have sprung a leak. I peed, wiped properly and then did some hands & knees pelvic tilts, when I stood up, I felt something & my underwear were all wet in the crotch & my pants were damp too. I didn't have it tested or anything, but it smelled sweet like amniotic fluid. I subscribe to the philosophy that water breaking doesn't mean infection, but rather it's just a version of normal. I leaked a little bit more that night, but by morning nothing was coming out. Nothing unusual for me with ctx. I bulked up on Vit C. I really think all is fine. I feel connected & tuned in.

OH! I got to attend the 3rd stage of a UC birth last weekend! So amazing! My DH really had a strong reaction to it. I find myself reflecting on how to best help him and help myself.

I am 33 wks today! And I keep telling myself that I have a LOG time till Baby comes, but I know it is right around the corner. I have so much going on that I have to attend to (teaching at VBS, studying and passing my finals, teaching two Sunday School classes, as well as watching two nieces for a couple of weeks. Just so much to do in the next seven weeks!).

I would give most anything to just take a few weeks off and "enjoy" the last few weeks of being pg. But does not look like that will happen any time soon.
15 weeks now! yeah! Second trimester.

I am considering seeing an OB because I keep thinking that I have hypoglycemia. It is really bad in the morning and I am thinking of getting things checked out. I have had it with each pg, but it is really bothering me right now. I sure don't like how it ruins half my day. :

Everything else is going great and I am starting to feel LO more often.

I'm about 38 wks. Getting close. We have a flea infestation I'm peeved about but otherise, doing great. My spd is better than ever - even w/less chiro. My body is so odd sometimes.

It's been a wild ride over the last few days w/some seizure issues w/dd so my mind is not in the right place. I am praying to hold out another 2-3 wks and I think I can. I just want a couple days of relaxing and holding my big kids before we get a new one.

Zoebird - turning over in bed always gets to be an issue at some point and it's taken me 4 pregnancies to figure out it's easier if I turn over with my face/belly down. I lift up on my arms so my belly barely grazes the bed but it's so much easier!

Well, I'm twenty-i-don't-know-what weeks Baby feels stronger and stronger, and has active days and quiet days. Since it's been 100 degrees the past few days I've been lounging indoors in the a/c. (Boy I'm going to gain a lot of weight this way lol)

Though I get more bothersome pain with the pelvic symphisis now and then I've been able to keep a handle on it. I've dropped the iron to every other day so I don't get backed up and I started taking a cal/mag/zinc with it to stave off leg cramps (I'd been feeling them just starting up at night, a preggo symptom of mine) and that's been working well.
Jesse - you might want to take your cal/mag/zinc at a different time than you take the iron because I think calcium inhibits the absorption of iron.
