Painful prodromal labor

I literally got no sleep last night. DH is staying home the rest of the week. The ctx are painful and still pretty much all over the place. Right now they're anywhere from 10-30min apart, however I am having some bloody show which is good. I fear another sleepless night. I was able to sleep some this morning and take a nap in the afternoon. Lets hope this turns into the real thing!

I hope you are able to get some rest tonight. Or maybe I should hope that your labor progresses and you get your babe tonight.

I hope things pick up for you or either you get to rest. If not, send somebody out tomorrow for some Motherwort tincture. I love that stuff. Read up on it to make sure you're comfortable with it. I find it to be a great relaxer.

I was having some painful irregular contractions last night and decided to just go to bed and see what happened. Do you have a health food store near you? If you do, get some Herb Pharm Relaxing Sleep Tonic. It works wonders, and I know it is safe because my midwife rec'd it. I keep talking about this stuff. I sound like a commercial. Seriously though, I wasn't expecting it to work, but it did. I have a friend who even used it during a loooong prelabor.

Hope you either got some good rest or a sweet new babe during the night. Labor vibes to you if you still need them!! The bloody show sounds really promising to me. Good luck!

hope things are going great and can't wait to hear your birth story. I had a really long and painful prodromal labor with my first and I know it can break you down. Just remember that babe will be here really soon!!

Don't give up hope! I had 9 hours of prodromal labor on Sunday/Monday, on Monday I rested as much as I could, on Tuesday early morning I started with the prodromal again which intensified after a nap and 12 hours of irregular contractions was holding my baby girl. Some women are just never 3-minute-apart type of women. I was a 12-2-4-8-2-15 minute type of girl myself...
