Sharing my first pair of pajamas!

I just finished up my first pair of pajamas for my DS. I'm so excited! He loves them. Now, I need to make some for younger DS. I appliqued owls onto an American Apparel t-shirt, and made flannel pants out of some cute owl fabric. I blogged about it here.

I used a pair of flannel pants that fit him well and traced half of them onto a big piece of freezer paper, and then added space for hemming, seams, and the fold over for the elastic waistband. It worked out great, although, I think I made the waist a little too tall and will shorten it for the next pair.

Since it has quickly gone from spring to summer here, I'm going to be making shorts next. I found some cute alien fabric on sale at Jo-Anns. But I'm going to use the same pattern and just cut them shorter.
