Anyone try deodorant stones?

I see there is already a current post for alternative deodorants, but I specifically want to know if deodorant stones work. There are many brands online. Any you know that work or just as importantly ones that don't?

I like the liquid form of the deodorant stones, like the Thai Crystal Mist. It's so easy, and because it never touches the skin, it never grows bacteria. Oh, and it works just as well as the stones!! I my crystal mist!

I think individual body chemistry plays a large part in the stones' effectiveness. I know a lot of people who swear by them, but I had zero success with it. So unless you try one, I don't think you can know whether it will work for you.

I like the Thai Crystal brand. There's another brand with two different pictures--either a man or a woman applying the deo to zir armpit. That brand, without fail, always smells like stinky pits.

I use the crystal on clean pits, rinse after use, and air dry. It doesn't work so well during my period.
