No poo hair moisturizer what and how often?

We've been no pooing since December when I came across a thread about it on this forum.

We all (2 adults, a 4 year old and a 2 year old) LOVE it!! However, I have very long, very fine hair. When I first get out of the shower my hair is super detangled and easy to brush through, however, I find that after a very short time my hair becomes tangled and knotted. I'm sure that my split ends aren't helping but I thought that maybe I need to moisturize my hair somehow. What do you all do? How often? and, what do you use?

What's your method of no-poo? Do you use b.soda or vinegar?

I'd 2nd the coconut oil. I've read that a lot of places and am trying it for the first time today. I have shoulder length hair, and I just put it on the few inches on the end. It's still wet, so not sure what it'l be like when dry, but i've heard good things.

i had that happen when i tried not rinsing out the acv. it's better now. other good moisturizers are jojoba oil (after you wash) and honey (before you wash).

I don't know if it's just too early in the no-poo game for me, but i'm not lovin' the coconut oil in the hair. It does not soak in, or rinse out. I have really greasy ends right now. Good thing I don't have to go anywhere today.

I'd love to get some ideas on hair moisturizer as well. I ended up giving up the no poo because my hair became so dry and brittle. Still is now, even after intense moisture treatments.
