What to think!

I've been feeling "funny" for the last few days... Last night I had some really good strong contractions about ten minutes apart for about three hours, fell asleep, woke up with milder contractions... Felt like I was going to start my period at noon...and now I'm having strong contractions every 5-8 minutes...

I've got 19 days til my due date... My belly significantly dropped 4-5 days ago, no change in discharge, no mucus plug...

I wont be upset if this isn't it...but I'm worried I'm going to have prodromal labor!!

Any wise words!?

I am right there with you! What I find that helps me, is to always assume its false labor.....then you don't get your hopes up and get discouraged. It really does help. Just remember, every contraction before labor begins is a little bit of efacing that doesn't need to be done once baby is ready.

I totally agree with Vanessa. I have had contractions all over the place, and just figure I will know when things really kick in. And I agree about it all doing a little something too!

Thats totally how I'm playing things in my head...it just sucks because we've got NO family here until the 21st...so it would be GREAT to know sooner than later...

I took a longish walk, so we'll see... hopefully its the deal breaker.

Deal breaker it was... All is calm...but too calm?

My baby hasn't had his regulary daily soccer session... I feel him and he responds to touch, but definitely decreased movement... makes me a tad uneasy...

Calm before the storm maybe?

My stomach is making CRAZY gurgling sounds tonight. I am hoping that means something. I will latch on to any possible sign.

It's so hard to know other than the old truth: you will know when you are really in labor. otherwise...you're not

my babe is very quiet now too. dd and ds2 were both much quieter for a few weeks before birth - it can be partly a positional thing as well, remember.

Since my cramps started coming on and off a couple days ago, my babe has gotten quiet too.
