Keeping my fingers crossed! - Page 2

Ugh that sucks. Can you fill up your tub and relax a bit? Or sit in a beanbag or something so you can rest while not completely laying down? Make sure you're eating and drinking too - a little blood sugar can help perk you up. Hang in there - sounds like you're in the home stretch!

Thankfully, I'm not all that tired. I've had some fruit, apple juice, lots of water, oatmeal, toast. Not much, but I'm really trying to get food in me. CX are sporadic, but I am getting some when sitting. Tub is full, but getting cool quickly. I don't want to get in it yet.

I sent dh away with most of the kids for a while. Watching tennis with my 9 year old ds. I just wish it would either go away completely or pick up. This limbo is driving me crazy.

Oh Tanya, I hate prodromal labor! Mine stalled all day Monday after my 10 yr old broke his arm, and did not pick up until my mom took him to the ortho on Tuesday. Rest up mama, your LO will be in your arms when the time is right. Maybe once you are well rested with all the kids tucked in it will take off.

Considering the youngest didn't take a nap today, I am actually quite ready for them to be in bed! I'm also ready to have my MW come check me. If I'm 5-6cm, I'll get in the tub and see if that improves the CX. If I'm less than 5cm, it's a glass of wine in hopes of stopping them so I can sleep tonight.

I had terrible prodromal labor with my first and this is bringing back really bad memories. I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm truly just very bored and frustrated with the lack of rhythm. I'll get a great, long, intense CX that literally pulls my cervix open, only to not be able to repeat it for a hour (normal and minor ones meanwhile). I just don't get it. Babies are supposed to come faster with subsequent births!

ETA: I had originally (jokingly) picked 6/7/08 as the baby's birth date. I really wonder if baby's waiting. I just hope it waits for midnight tonight, not midnight tomorrow night!!
