Do you still have cravings?

I know a lot of our DDC mamas are crabby and really uncomfortable at this point in the game, but I was wondering if I'm the only one who still has cravings for certain foods (maybe I'm not far enough along or something!). For the last few days, all I want are popsicles! You know, those el-cheapo popsicles that you could split in half with the two sticks coming out of the end? No cravings for fried stuff or weird pickle/ice cream combos...just popsicles!

Anyone else?

Sweet tarts. I've had to ration them. I bought 2 rolls last friday and told myself that they would get me through this last week of work. Then yesterday I broke down and bought one more roll (because the 2 were gone) and that's gone now too. Thankfully, I'm done in about 4 hours!! Really, I guess there are worse things than popsicles and sweet tarts - eating a whole roll is no worse than drinking a can of soda (which I never do).

I think I *would* be craving popsicles, except that we have this awesome Italian Ice stand a couple blocks from my house (we live adjacent to Little Italy neighborhood in Chicago) and so I can walk up and get cantaloupe or watermelon ice (basically it's frozen sugar water with mashed up chunks of fresh fruit and lemon juice) any time I want. It's SO good.

Yes, I still get cravings. Not quite as bad as before, but when I get something in mind that I want to eat.... I MUST eat it! I was actually cravings those cheapo popsicles the other day! I was at the grocery store and they didn't have any! I wanted the banana flavored ones!

Oh yeah.

I was and am craving corn dogs. CORN DOGS!!!! I don't eat that crap, but I actually bought some. Not just some. A Costco box of them. :

I was lamenting to my mom about my newfound love of the corn dog. She said, "Relax, no one has ever died from eating a corn dog."

I said, "Surely, someone has died from eating 48 of them!" That's how many are in the box.

I hope my craving ends before the box is finished.

I am actually about to go make one. For BREAKFAST!!!!

I have been on a full on 2 month straight strawberry kick, good thing it's the season and they are easy to get and cheap!! I mean to tell you I can't even begin to guess how many pints of raw fresh strawberries I have consumed!!

I crave ice, does that count? I go through bags and bags of ice a week (and yes, I make DH buy it in a bag because I like it crushed and I dont want to wait for the cubes to make in my freezer trays )
My MW thinks its from the anemia, but I've been on floradix for a week now and still went through two giant bags of ice in that time.... :

Yes, I'm still craving watermelon. I was so pissed when I went to the fruit stand and they were out of it. They promised they would have some more in today.

Hell yes I still have cravings!

Chocolate milk... It's the only thing I can drink with my prenatal vitamins every morning. I have gotten better, I was going through a litre of milk in a day, now it's just a glass or 2. It's not even good chocolate milk either, it's that Nesquik syrup crap...

Watermelon.. I'm averaging about 3 or 4 watermelons a week, not huge huge ones, but not the little mini ones either.

Any fresh fruit that is in the house doesn't last long though.

Dark chocolate is always a weakness of mine, my mom bought me a huge bar of dark chocolate, it lasted me about a month, as I'd have ONE square of it for a treat a few days a week. There's another one in the cupboard that she bought 2 weeks ago, and I've only had 2 pieces from it.

I crave cold.. I fill a water bottle up with juice and put it in the freezer until it's nice and slushy. I also do it with my red raspberry leaf tea, I add a bit of cranberry juice to it and freeze it and it is sooooo good!

I've been craving beer.

And I don't even drink.

And those very same popsicles, actually. There's a giant box in my freezer and I am attempting to ration.

Um yeah, I've eaten at Panera Bread three times in the last two days. I actually think that my cravings are worse now than at any time. Sitting at 39w2d, I guess mine won't go away!

Chocolate chips here...and butterscotch milkshakes (which I never drink)...and strawberries...and oatmeal...and nachos...

'SIGH'

All such healthy choices!

Just watermelon. I eat 1/2 to 1 melon a day. It's my favorite food when I'm not pregnant but now I MUST have it on a daily basis.

I had the popsicle craving earlier on -- just the rootbeer ones.

I wouldn't call it a craving, but I sure am looking forward to my first glass of red wine sometime postpartum. It's been over a year....

I have had a bad sweet tooth this whole pregnancy and that is still going strong! Thank goodness I didn't have any GD issues. I would have been in bad shape.

Lately I have been wanting oranges though. I don't think I am low on vitamin C, so :
