How do you feel (physically) when you wake up?

Weird question, but just wondering. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm only 2 wks PP because I feel like I never even gave birth and have been doing pretty much everything like normal since day 1. BUT, when I sit up in bed in the morning (or night, to change a dipe), I just feel like I've been run over by a truck. It's only for a short time after I get up, but my body just aches and is sore. Is it just a combination of hormones and everything moving back into place during nighttime?

horrible. sadly, it doesn't go away.

The last time, though, was more like you describe with feeling much better than I "should" for so early.

i am 8 days pp and i notice that when i get up from bed, or when i stand up from sitting in general that i feel VERY achy... but then it goes away... i assume that it will go away totally soon... i hope!

My bones HURT at night. Especially my hips and pubic bone. This has happened to me every time. I think it's the ligaments tightening back up or something.

For the first week and a half I felt really sore when getting up from a laying or seated position. Now at 3 weeks 3 days, I don't feel pain but I feel totally worn out upon waking...just lethargic like my body is wiped out. It's crazy! I generally need to eat and drink immediately to recover.

That's how I'm feeling now. Earlier it was like my OP, but now I don't hurt when I wake up...just feel like I need to fall back over and sleep the rest of the day. (and I'm not really lacking any sleep either)

I'm wondering now if it is a combo of my body still working to get back in order plus the production and expelling of milk and the hours between meals while I rest. I don't know but it's horrible...even happens after a nap. I essentially need to suck down a bottle of water and get to a meal FAST! If baby's feeding needs beat mine I generally end up dozing back off while he feeds because I have not "rebooted" my own system first.
