Where to get smaller circular needles?

Where did you get your smaller length circular needles? I can't find anything smaller than 29" long, and that's too big to cast on the Sheepy pants pattern. Where can I find shorter lengths for cheap online, or in stores?

I am in Canada. I've already tried the craft store and Micheals. The small yarn shop downtown is next on the list, but doesn't have parking and is as 50min trip by bus.

Help!

my local yarn store.

I would call them first before making the trek out there.

you can use magic loop if you have a very long circular already

Ebay. they have a ton & all sizes. Addi turbo's are quite cheap on there.

Yeah I would also try ebay if you don't want to visit the yarn store, I can't remember the seller's name, but I know there is at least one with good prices.

I would invest in a very long needle the size you need, 40" or 47" so you can magic loop and use it for any projects from the body to the leg to mittens. They are too expensive in my opinion to buy individually.

That being said what size do you need I might have them and can send them to you since I invested in a knit picks options set.

I got all of my 16" needles from joann.com. They're Susan Bates Silverado, and I actually like them better than my addis. They cost about $5-6 dollars, and I've used them for 3 years with no problems. But I hate magic loop .

I order from Knit Picks. Or go to an LYS but KP is a more affordable option.

I have gotten 16" at hobby lobby/michaels, but only larger sizes (8 & 9).

I have interchangeables from Knit picks and 16" inch that I use to double circ knit really small diameter. I also have Addi Turbo's in 12" that I got from Paradise Fibers. I can make medium and larger sheepy pants on the 16" and newborns and smalls on the 12".

I also reccomend the magic loop. It's just tooo expensive to buy small needles for everthing.

My fav. needle size is an 8, though so I do have a tiny clover plastic size 8 needle, and it works really well.

Thanks guys! I got them today at my local yarn shop... and found out that their 100% wool is cheaper than Walmart. (Serves me right for not going in before...)

I bought bamboo circulars... magic loop looks too intimidating for someone who's never knitted in the round before.
