I really am. He was in NICU for 2 nights so pediatricians could run tests on him. He never had low blood sugar or any other signs of diabetes. The pediatrician who discharged Erik today said he was amazed to see a healthy kid from a diabetic mother, but I was trying hard His blood work was perfect and I insisted on breastfeeding the very next day as soon as I could walk to the nursery. Last night he stayed with me.
