need some help with pattern

Thread Starter
I bought some merino wool interlock fabric. I want to sew some soakers and longies from it. I have seen these already made and they are so beautiful!

If anyone has made soakers and longies from these before, can you tell me if a regular sewing pattern for baby pants and diaper covers (like a Simplicity pattern, etc.) will work, or do I need to buy a specialty pattern online?

I did something like this:

Except I just used a side snap diaper pattern and sewed up the sides and measured dd's waist and thighs to make the waistband and leg trim.

I haven't seen s pattern from the Big 3 that is specifically for soakers and longies. If you want to know where to buy a pattern for these, PM me and I can give you details.

I like this pattern for interlock soakers:

As far as interlock longies, really, any pants pattern will work. Lemme look for something...
