38+6 today.

Well now I know what real false labor is like. I was up until 3am with contractions 9-11 mins apart that hurt pretty bad. I am so tired and cranky now. Thank god ds is with his dad for the weekend.

Oh! I just knew you would be having that baby right now!

Well yesterday was kind of stressful. I ate taco mayo and that
was not cool with the kiddo as it went straight through me....TMI!!!

I have a ton of stuff to do get done today. This is going to be
a hectic week. I"m trying to get all my crap finished and done
before Friday. At least the hospital has WI-Fi and I can bring my laptop.

37+2. Nothing much happening on the uterine front. Still hot, even hotter than the last two days. I got home this morning from the farmer's market at 7:30 and it was already 82 outside. Ugh. I'm forced to hide inside in the a/c all day. I can't imagine how people survived down here before air conditioning.

Speaking of, check out my farmer's market yummies: Fruits & Veggies

All grown w/n a fifty mile radius, mostly organic, and CHEAP!! Although, it's still weird to me that I live somewhere that I can buy fresh, local asparagus and radishes at the same time as blueberries and ripe tomatoes. I *know* it's b/c of the geography of the state (coast is much warmer than the mountains), but it still strikes me as odd, KWIM?

Hope everyone has a great day!

My best friend is coming over to help me totally clean my house (which I'm going to have to drink some coffee to help my end b/c I'm not feeling the excited love like I want to be) today. I'm looking forward to my basement (where we all have our rooms) not smelling like pee (my boys - well, still potty-learning is all I can really say).

Steam cleaning here we come! Woohooo!

I also made peace with the fact it's going to be quite a bit longer for me - maybe weeks - and decided that next week I'm going to schedule a somewhat expensive, nice pedicure and manicure just for the heck of it. I've never had a real one and darn it, I want to. I'm also going to finish the diapers I'm in the middle of sewing (I've got about 20 that are just moments from being done, and another 16 that are partly there), and then start something FUN and different (ie. not diaper sewing).

If my massage lady was not so busy I'd schedule something with her (I have a gift certificate), but... well, she's booked out like 3w.

Anyways, I've got stuff to do and time to do it in (at least for now) so I'm going to ignore my body and pretend like I have forever.

(TMI)
I had loose stool this morning - and I felt kind of not good last night when I was sleeping so I hope I didn't get anything or eat anything bad... but otherwise, I'm going to be cleaning and sewing today! Yahoo.

Feeling ok, but then again I'm laying in bed doing my computer-first wake up routine...

I'm getting anxious reading about all the new babies... I feel like I still have more, I wanna die-days left but I want a new bebe to snuggle! :P

I hope everyone has a great weekend...besides a few random things, I've got no plans...

38 weeks. Well, I did some errands this morning, got some GREAT fresh strawberries from right down the street (two quarts), got a few other things, came home, and we were in the pool by 11:30. First day we've been in the pool. DS and I were out there for almost 5 hours! 80 degrees in the pool (95outside), which is usually WAY to cold for me (even DH said it was a bit cool for him), but it felt SO good. I LOVE THE WATER! All my aches and pains went away and I loved how easily I could feel him in the water. I think when doctors/midwives due external versions to flip breech babies, they should have the moms in water. What a difference it makes on how easily your baby moves! I felt so good in there. Now that I'm back on land I feel kinda yucky again. Crampy, but no more than the last week or so. I think he's staying in for a few more weeks. He's way too comfy in there.

38 weeks

Had some lovely practice labor last night. Cramping, back pain, contractions, nausea, the whole bit. If I'd had bloody show or something I would have been sure it was the real thing. Energetically it didn't feel real...just all the signs. It went on for about 4-5 hours until I knocked myself out for sleep with some herbs. Woke up a few times all crampy and things are back to normal today. I'm preparing my birth soup now for the freezer.

Nothing. I think most of you gals on here (even due weeks from now) are going to have your babies before mine comes out, if it ever does. I'm doubtful at this point.

So, I'm just giving up. Not doing much of anything besides attempting to stay on top of dishes and laundry, and making hubby chase the kids while I go cry in bed.

Feeling a little crampy this afternoon. I just tested out my new pump to see if I could get anything going - nothing yet, but I did get quite a bit of colostrum out!

39w4d. just the usual maybe-today's-the-day kind of stuff, but it doesn't actually appear to be the day. it's almost too hot to have a baby today anyways (i would be laboring in a cold shower, i think, which is kind of weird...)

40 weeks today

Also nothing for me. Feeling great, actually. A girlfriend of mine who is also due this weekend is laboring in the hospital as we speak... I'm trying not to be jealous!

I know the feeling. An aquaitance of mine was due June 10th and had her baby Tuesday night.

I am feeling a bit better now. Went shopping with a friend and had a nap this afternoon.

No contractions today, after a few hours' worth yesterday. Feh.

I am trying not to panic that this baby will be HUGE and un-VBACable! My new midwifes know that my babies cook longer and I grow them big, and they seem okay with that, so far. But how far can I push them?

But most of the time, I'm okay carrying this babe in - I'm trying to be super conscious that this is most likely my last time being pregnant, and soak in every roll the baby gives me.

37 weeks today. WooHoo I'm officially term!

I had a pretty good day - had one of the best prenatal yoga classes. It was just incredible. Practicing on your own is one thing, but its so nice to have the engery of other pregnant yogis. The neat thing is that it was a small class, 2 women at 36 weeks, a woman that is due on Tuesday and me. We catered everything to the 3rd trimester.

Is anyone else super congested? I've had a stuffy nose for the past 2 weeks. I've tried doing the nasal rinse but it makes me throw up. Any other suggestions? I'm snoring (I never snore!) and it is driving my poor hubby crazy.

38w 6d. I've been having contraction since yesterday, but nothing that does anything. Some are really painful and the rest are bh. I was wiping my bum and my hand kept gettting wet, so I'm wondering if I'm leaking fluid. I had leaks with the other two the night before I had dd and for 4 days before I had ds, so I guess I can hope. It would have been cool if I had had the baby today, it's my dd's birthday. But I'm sure she would NOT have thanked me for that later in life . Anyways, I'm just hanging in!
