Looking for BP monitor suggestions

Thread Starter
I need to buy a bp monitor kit for homebirth use. I had planned to buy and use a digital wrist model but upon researching the various brands, I found "bad review after bad review". Apparently these wrist models can be wildly inaccurate. I then looked into some of the digital bp kits with arm cuffs and found a lot of the same problems there.

I'm wondering if any of you with homebirth practice, have suggestions on good models/brands to try? Do you use battery op digi models or use the old fashioned stethoscope models? I've got so much going on in my pockets during births at this point. Stethoscope would be just one more...

The regular 'old fashioned' type are the most accurate, imo.

I really like the palmar style like this one http://www.mdfdirect.com/2_1.htm

(I found one for about $40, so look around for a better price than the linked one above!).
