I've been inspired to plan and execute a homemade Christmas this year. I've got great ideas from other threads here on MDC for my DD's, and myself, but it seems to me we are lacking in ideas for the men in the family. So! Share your great ideas for gifts for the men in your family. Here are a few I've picked up here and there:
Organizer for Car
Bills Keeper (inspired by Car organizer)
Tie Dye Clothing-how about boxers and socks?

I made my husband a husband pillow (is that what it's called? - the kind that you lean back on that has arms) one year. I used plain fabric and put his favorite team's logo on it. Interestingly, I am the one who uses it most, but I think he loves it anyway!

Thanks for sharing some very cool links!
Things that I have made in the past are:
Knitted hat and mittens
Fleese hat and scarf
Basket full of homemade treats (like hot cocoa mix, pancake mix. trail mix, etc)
Caledar featuring pictures of DS
Another very cool thing is to order puzzles with photos of loved ones. It's not exactly hand-made, but my FIL loves puzzles and his grandson, so it's a big hit!
This year I am thinking of making a photo collage of ds for FIL and I think I'll make that car organizer that someone posted for my BIL. DH is getting some hand-knit slippers or if I have the time one of these (http://www.entropyhouse.com/penwiper...termaknit.html. Yes, I am ) that big of a nerd!
) and maybe that lego-USB thingie-doodle that was posted.
PS - I am also having ds "make" some gifts for his relatives this year. We are going to try our hand ay making faux fassils for FIL, since he likes to fossil hunt. I got the idea from this webpage: http://crafts.kaboose.com/fossil.html
