I think that post partum women aren't to use tampons until their first AF. As for the swimming, I think that its probably ok, as long as there wasn't a tear. If so, than I would guess that one wouldn't want the chlorine from a pool or bacteria from a lake possibly infecting/stinging the wound. I will wait to swim until everthing is all healed. And yes, kegling is always ok. Kegle from now until eternity. Just take it slow the first week.

you should wait a few weeks for the swimming. Germies can get up there and until everything's closed up, you're at risk. I would also wait for the tampon use. Kegels are great though! I got hemorhoids during the birth and my mw said that kegels would pull em right back in and she was right! You can never go wrong with kegels ;-)
