Does anyone have any resources for buying scrap or whole leather for making shoes? Suede? Shoe bottoms? I have some patterns I've been wanting to try for years with the real stuff.

I have had good luck finding leather clothes at thrift stores, to cut up.

Good idea. Last time I looked here I didn't see any, though. Has anyone had good luck on ebay with the leather scraps there or are they too small?
