Honestly I make a plan and then sometimes something else sounds better, so I'll make that instead. I "plan" every Saturday is "Cook's Choice" so that leaves me open, plus it the same day as farmer's market so I get to make a decision based on what I got on Saturday, or around what we're doing. I like having that flexibility. So maybe that's an idea for you, I really like doing things this way, also I can use leftovers, or make planned overs so I can morph my meals from one to another. This weekend I made a Mexican style pot roast for shredded beef, so good, I made taquitos that night, and we'll have tacos with the same meat tomorrow. HTH.
