How much have you gained??

My weight gain has started to pick up over tha past few weeks and it has got me curious as to how much everyone else has gained... I've had issues with gaining weight and thinking about how much more I have to gain. I seem to be slowly learning to handle it. Although some days are harder than others.

So far I've gained 10 lbs and I'm 20 weeks along.

How about you???

I've gained 8 lbs and I'm 21 weeks.

I've gained 9 lbs and I'm 23 weeks.

At 21wks (last Friday), I'd gained exactly 7lbs. I didn't start gaining until I was 15wks though and since then it's been a lb a week. My goal is a lb a week until birth which will put me at a gain of 26lbs I think. I'm sure I'm crazy but a girl can hope, right? I won't be under 150 but I'll be close! That was my original goal.

I'm 20 weeks 3 days and I am back to my pre pregnancy weight. I think I lost aobut 10 pounds? So according to my grandmother I've gained 10 pounds already.

I've gained 12 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight and I'm at 22 weeks now.

I love how I look pregnant, and the changes aren't bothering me at all... EXCEPT I worry a bit about how I'm going to look when it's all over. I wish I weren't vain!

I think I'm up about 6-7 pounds so far. I lost a few in the first two months. I'm feeling pretty good, though. I'd guess that I've been adding an extra hundred calories or so per meal, plus a few small snacks in between, and that feels right. I'm still focusing on high(er) protein meals with lots of unprocessed veggies & grains. I'm not doing very well with dairy, though...almost gagged on the Kefir this morning. Seems like my body just doesn't like it as much these days.

At 23 weeks I'm up to 13 pounds. I had MS but didn't throw up but a few times. I started gaining right away and never lost any at the beginning. My fit day shows an average of 1/2 pound per week since I tested positive! So hey, at least it's steady. I'm hoping to continue to gain 1/2 pound a week until baby comes earthside.

I've gained 6 lbs so far, but I started out about 10 lbs heavier than my goal weight.

I've gained twenty pounds so far. I think I needed to gain more since I started out on the low side for my height.

I've gained about 5 and I'm 20 weeks. It's a little difficult for me to gain weight.

I've gained 15 lbs at almost 21 weeks.

Last week when I weighed in, I had gained 15 lbs at 22 weeks.

It's a little more than I wanted to gain by this point, but I think it's okay. I'm seeing my midwife on Thursday and I'll weigh myself again then. I'm trying not to obsess over it as much as possible, but it's not easy.

I'd gained 10 at my 18 week check up, not sure what I've put on since then and my next appointment isn't till the end of next week. I'm not worried about it, I gained 42 with DS (and had him at 35 weeks) and lost most of it, so I feel much more relaxed about my weight gain this time, now that I know I'll return to some semblance of my pre-preggo self.

Last time I checked it was around 15 lbs for 20 weeks. I'm totally okay with this. I gained 50 lbs last pregnancy. DS was 8 lbs 14 oz. Healthy weight.

You have no idea how much better I feel about my weight gain from reading this thread. Thanks!

Carrie- 15 pounds is totally fine. If I weren't so messed up when it comes to weight and how I perceive it, I'd be thrilled to only be at 15 pounds. Alas, I am and I come by it honestly. My mom called to talk about my 55 pound 8.5 year old drinking whole milk yesterday. She was rather disgusted that anyone would drink whole milk. And she's TINY! "Really? I don't see it." my mom says.

20 lbs at 22 weeks. I think that is fine for me (ok, so I don't particularly like seeing the dimples show up on thighs and butt but oh well) since I started off at 115 at 5'4, which is definitely the lower end of it... I actually was consciously trying to gain a little weight from about Thanksgiving on (when I weighed about 105) so I could start ovulating by February (but it came January )

I am more concerned with not gaining weight since last time I was only up 5 lbs and went into preterm labor...

My pre-pregnancy weight was 92 lbs. Currently at 21 weeks, I have gained about 5-6 lbs.
