How much have you gained?? - Page 3

7lbs at 20 weeks but I was overweight to begin with so really I shouldn't have gained anything. I am not eating well.

I'm so jealous! I'd gained 15lbs by this time with my son and was yelled at. I gained a total of 42lbs with him, and my ob wasn't happy, it made appts. stressful, so I refused to seem him He's much nicer this time around

I've gained 4 lbs!!!! But that is after me losing almost 30 bs, so I'm ecstatic!

Zero for me at 19w (down 2 I think). I started out 10lbs heavier (and 10lbs heavier than my highest comfortable weight) due to a donut obsession following my m/c so I am fine with no gain. By this point with DS I was up 9lbs or so and gained 39 total, but it all fell off--the first 30 by 8days PP and the last 9 by 3mths PP... hmm, water weight anyone? I am worried it won't be so easy this time though.

Curiousity got the best of me and I weighed myself this morning. Up another 1/2 lb or so, making it a total of 17 lbs gained at 23 weeks. Eh. I could go easy on the junk and make this work!

2lbs so far at 20 weeks. I started out overweight a good amount so Im not concerned in the least. I gained 23lbs with my first and 30lbs with my second.

My biggest downfall right now is that it's getting hot outside and I make lots of homemade ice cream when it's hot! My Mom and sis are even making requests for it since they're staying with us a lot so I'm making more than I normally would! I've been instructed to make a batch today....cookie dough. I think I'll make a homemade peanut butter cookie dough. YUM. I'm sure that'll put me up 2lbs this week instead of just 1! Guess we'll see at my next prenatal on Fri. I wish those appts were in the morning instead of the afternoon when my weight is 2-3lbs heavier than I actually am!

I haven't gained any weight yet this pregnancy. I've lost about 4 pounds. Even if I gain 2 pounds a week for the rest of my pregnancy I still won't weigh what I did when I delivered my first and I started out 20 pounds heavier this pregnancy than the last one. It kinda makes me worry I'm not having healthy weight gain, but the HP says not to and that babe will be fine.

Even though I haven't gained any weight, I'm starting to hate the "rolls" that are drooping on either side of my belly. They was a slight pooch there before getting pregnant and now it seems to really stand out now that I've got a belly overhanging it. I might get one of those belly bands. Not because I want to support my belly, but because I'm so vain about my poochy that I think it might hold it up a bit.

I feel like crying everytime I go near a scale. It puts me right in a depression. And doctors think I'm crazy for always saying "pls dont tell me my weight" so that DP wont have to hear it. I'm so ashamed.

I got in such great shape before getting pregnant. I had lost 80 pounds and was running 5 miles a day. Then, I took Clomid and gained 10 pounds. Then I got pregnant and gained 5 more. Then I miscarried and couldn't bring myself to exercise. A week after my miscarriage, I got pregnant again naturally.

The weight has just kept coming on. By week 12, I had gained 15 pounds. I am about 21 weeks and have been still at the same wait for the last ten weeks. I'm so disgusted. That's a 30 pound gain since christmas. I am exercising now. 2 mile jogs, eating lots of fruit, veggies...only giving in to some cravings once in awhile. I don't know why I can't stop this but my appearance is driving me crazy now because of the weight gain that I can't control.

Sorry for rambling. Can you tell that weight is a sore subject?

^Try not to be so hard on yourself. I know it's hard. An 80lb loss is a LOT to be proud of! And, a miscarriage is a LOT to deal with and finding peace can really mess up your schedule. I think you're doing great. You're making an effort (and a good one at that!) to be healthy now that you're at a better place emotionally. s mama and good for you for making positive changes in your life to be healthier!

I'm up 14 pounds at 20 weeks. Eh. More than I was hoping at this point, but well below what I'd gained with my first at this point! With her I gained about 50 pounds total, but this time I'm going a lot easier on the junk food. Still, though, I think my body just gains weight while pregnant - I swear, I'm not eating THAT much and still the pounds keep coming.
I looked back and by this time with my second I'd gained about 33 pounds! I ended up gaining 50 and she was born at 33 weeks. That's making 13 or 14 sound A-ok!

I know! I'm eating enough protein and making sure to eat small meals every 2 hours since I can't eat large portions (makes me feel awful and just get full too quickly). I'm not worried about what I've gained but it seems strange to be gaining at all when I know my eating habits are pretty darn good. I keep telling myself all the things going on in my body cause a gain (extra blood, baby gaining weight, etc) and it doesn't always have anything to do with how much you're eating.

I haven't gained yet. According to my m/w I'm down @ 14 lbs but I lost some weight before my first appointment so I think it's closer to 20 lbs down. I'm overweight so there's no worry about it.

It's a bit disconcerting, because really, I'm not eating much more than I usually would, and not pregnant I have no trouble at all maintaining a healthy weight. I think pregnancy just flips some sort of switch where my body starts storing extra calories rather than burning them off! I lost all the weight I gained with my first fairly easily, so it doesn't concern me overly much, it's just so odd to be putting on weight without eating a ton of food!

Am I the only one who hasn't weighed herself at all? :

I can't even guess. Now this thread has me curious.

Lol, just pulled out my medical records from my last pregnancy (yes I'm a nerd and have them on hand) and I'm pretty happy According to it, at this point I had already gained 15lbs. So yay! Off to a good start especially considering I gained 50lbs with my son (oh no!). Hopefully I can kepe my weight at or under 35lbs this time.

I'm 21 wks 5 days and I've gained 4 lbs so far. I started off overweight though so I'm pretty happy about that. I would love to keep my weight gain between 15-20 lbs total.
