I'm totally insane. Here I am about to have one of the biggest life transitions you can have, and I decide to throw a brand new cat into the mix! A few months ago we lost our 20 year old cat (I was too hysterical for weeks to even write about it, as I'd had him since he was a kitten.) I've really been missing a kitty lately, and my daughter has been bugging me since before the body was even cold, so we went to the Humane Society this weekend and adopted 3-year-old Daisy. We're having a hard transition with the dog, but I'm hopeful that it will be ok. And this cat will be good company when I'm up with the baby, as she is one nocturnal beast (meowing into the wee hours). She's cute though, eh?
