Tye Dye with Kool-Aid?

Hey!!! I'm new here with a question I have perused this site lots of times but just got around to joinin' this eve...

Ok... Can I Tye Dye fab with Kool-Aid? I read somewhere that it wouldn't be a good idea to use cotton fab with Kool-Aid...
I need to know what if any fabs can be Tye Dyed with Kool-Aid

Any help would be waaaay appeciated

Kool Aid will only work on protein fibers (wool, alpaca, silk, etc).

For fabric, you'll need fiber-reactive procion dyes like you can get here:

I've used Dylon which you can get at fabric and hobby stores to dye cotton. So far it's worked very nicely.
